If you are a personal show, it is important to work smart. My business is to help you earn more money than your business.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am a bit obsessed with improving the system, the process and everything.
What happens when you automate your day?
Setting up automation and improving the process is not attractive.
It is hard work. When I put together a standard operating procedure document, for example, I practically have to crawl to my seat. (More on that later).
As Ricardo Benoit, a friend of my follow-up boss says, "Focus on working $ 1,000 / hour and find a way to automate, allocate, or eliminate the rest."

On Sunday nights, I go to my room and take a few minutes to take off what I'm going to wear on my "camera" days and my informal "camera-less" days. I put the five pieces in one part of my closet. This makes it much quicker to wear clothes in the morning.
3. Automate your writing time.
The best way to improve your skills is a lot. Picasso knew it. If you are a writer, take the time to write every day.
Example: I use the updated interface at 750words.com, which adds confidence to the page when it reaches its daily count of 750 words.
4. Automate your food.
Don't waste precious brain space knowing what to eat. Think ahead and hold food in hand so you can easily stop and refuel. You can even eat the same food every day with small changes to keep things fresh.
For example: it's summer in America, so I make a big salad and eat it for lunch for a few days, replacing it with beans, nuts, or veggies so it never gets boring .۔
5. Automate your breaks.
Non-stop content creation sessions don't work better for you. The fabric is broken in your day so you can take care of your physical and mental health.
Example: The morning is key for me, so I get up at 11 in the morning and work in my pajamas. As I stop, I shower, get dressed, and get ready for my afternoon appointments.
6. Adopt standard operating procedures.
Whenever you find yourself working over and over again, make a note to document it with SOP's standard operating procedures. A well-documented process allows you to easily grow your business.
Example: My own business just happened from me, me, and three amazing team members. We have documentation of the work we do over and over again. If a team member moves forward, it's easy for me to bring in a new person quickly because we have the documents on how they will do their job.

7. Set your inbox rules.
Whether you use Gmail, Outlook, Mail, or anything else, use the power of inbox rules so you can focus on the messages that matter and deal with others when you have the time.
Example: instant emails are sent to my inbox. Less urgent emails that I can read when I have free time go to the "Read Later" folder.
8. Write an email sequence
If you are using email software like Convert Kit, pre-order emails for new users. Start with a great welcome email.
Example: My new subscribers receive a long series of emails highlighting my best content and mentioning my products and services. Messages are delivered once a week and last about six months.
9. Group and schedule social media posts.
If you use social media, don't let it get creative. Think about the topics you want to tackle, and then create content that is worth a month in a day or two.
Example: we have a month of social content that has been allocated to the middle of the first month.
10. Pre-write your customer's emails.
If you serve customers, take the time to write a "perfect" version of standard emails. These can be disclosure emails, estimates, and project agreements or other binding agreements.
Example: Over the years I have used the same "How I work here" email with potential clients, I just renamed the top and some client details. It worked like a charm!
11. Create folders for projects.
Most projects have a process by which they move forward. A written project can have a research or outline phase, a first draft, a review phase, and a final phase. See your process and set up a folder that replicates it; this will help you keep your hard drive and head organized.
